Very well said. I have been studying and practicing the law of attraction ever since "the secret". From conversation with others about this topic I think many people are scared to have what they want only because they would have to stop complaining about not having it. People really do feel like they are undeserving, it is strange- nice post.

Kris, I always enjoy reading your words, even if I don't agree with them. In this case, however, I do feel you have hit the nail directly. See, it's not always what is being said, but rather how it is said. One can hear the same thing over and over, but let someone new say it differently, and it is as if dawn breaks on marblehead! I embraced living in poverty, as it showed my strength, or so I thought. I am not a greedy person by any means, but feel the need to have more so that I can enjoy this life here. For the first time in many many years, I am left without a goal as I have accomplished all that I wanted to do. Now what? I'd LOVE to not have to struggle with making ends meet and worrying about where my next pay check will come from. Security is what I am seeking... how does one acquire that? Letting go and trusting. I was given a mantra 6 years ago which has stopped working for me. "I am well taken care of, but I continue to draw large amounts of cash to myself" I truly am well taken care of, but it's because I don't expect anything. The cash is another thing. I am waiting for the big one! In the meanwhile, how does one do a treasure map? Looking forward to your next post Kris! I always find you positively reassuring!

Kris,

Thank you for this post. You are abosolutely correct! I firmly believe in everything you mentioned! And this was a great reminder we are not being selfish in any shape, way, or form to want and desire, love, friendship, companionship, everything that is beautiful in this world to accept it and to give it with the whole of ones heart! I do believe in putting down on paper what I call a life contract, reading it, consuming it, dreaming it, wishing it, eating, drinking, sleeping it! As well as list making and journaling.Thank you for reminding me of this, I truly believe one day, every detail even the smallest one will manifest. Thank you and have a great day!!!!

I would like more information on Treasure Mapping, list making, journaling, etc... I am forty-one years old and in a very transitional period in my life. I have no idea what I want and don't even know how to begin to figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Hey Kris!

Thank you for the inspiring post.Id like to add to what you've said. Hopefully, it is inspiring

From my studies and experience with spiritual healing and Self awakening, I see that we cannot choose a different reality if we are still living in the past.

We must have safe ways to CLEAR and RELEASE the negativity, fear, and karmic patterns that keeps us from discovering the abundance and beauty we want in the world.

Blessings

Hi Kris,

I have read many books on the newly-popularized "Law of Attraction," and wanted to share the title of my most recent read: Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting! by Lynn Grabhorn (which is a kind of funny name when you think about "taking the bull by the horns" as a metaphor for manifesting!) It is a lively and humorous book with suggestions and anecdotes from the author's own struggles on her path from unconscious creation to conscious manifestation. I think many in our "circle" would enjoy it.
