“Actions are more important than words. But energy is more important than actions.”
Ananda, Age 4
She meant every word of it. She is building her understanding of her world. It was unsolicited advice during a walk on the beach. How wise. And yet, aren’t we born knowing everything and we lose our connection with the truth of life as we learn more information and facts?
This seems to be the pattern. We are connected with our source at birth and as we use language to categorize our world and develop personality from the influence of others around us, we lose our connection with source. We lose the most precious thing we have. It’s where the ability to manifest what we want comes from.
But why do we do this? It appears to be the human condition. We work to simplify our understanding of the world by naming and categorizing everything in it. And yet every time we name something, we limit it. And this process continues throughout our education and socialization process. It’s all part of a bigger push to make us all fit together in a social fabric. And the irony is that the more we attempt to simplify our understanding of the world, the more complex and convoluted it becomes.
Understanding this is at the start of recovering your prosperous nature again. The path requires letting go of the naming and categorization so you can make your mind clear and open again. It’s in the open and clear state that you can receive the creativity, inspiration and knowledge that you need to manifest your full potential.
Listen: Listen to the sun rise and set, listen to the stars at night and listen to the breathe moving in and out of your body. Be still and listen and suddenly your inner messages become easier to hear. Listen for the simple truth that resides within you. That is your strength. The sound of your soul. It can be trusted beyond all other voices.
The first voice you will hear is your mind. It will be trying desperately to stay in control of your life. Listen but do not be fooled. Keep listening until it gets tired and fades away. Get a Polarity session. Take a very long walk. Keep listening all the time. Eventually you will start to hear your true inner voice that comes from your source. It’s very different. It’s not urgent or frenetic. There’s no fear or confusion. It’s calm, clear and the most beautiful sound you will ever hear.
This is the sound of your energy. Align with this sound. You were born to be prosperous. There is unlimited energy available to you when the channels are open. This is the precursor to all action. Action will evolve harmoniously from your connection with energy. Staying connected with the energy while you act is vitally important. One creates the other. The results flow from the harmonious manifestation of source energy into action.
As we approach the final opening of the expansive cycle (June 21st) we are moving into the manifestation (harvest) part of the cycle. Harness this peak energy moment over the next 2 weeks and you can move farther and faster on your path than at any time before. Focus on connecting with source energy now and see how it transforms your life.
This is the essence of your prosperity. Enjoy it. Live it. Make it a full-time part of you. This is the gift.
Sincerely,
Kris

It seems like it was just last week that it was the beginning of a new year and I was encouraging everyone to write down their goals. 6 months have passed and here we are almost to the beginning of June and the official start of the summer season. So much has happened. The sky did not fall, we have 91% employment and things are about to pop.
So did you write down your goals? If so, take them out and look at them. How many of them did you accomplish. How many do you want to change. And what do you want to add to the list? This is a great time to review and refocus to take your prosperity to a higher level.
Summer is full of energy which is great for moving your life forward but can also be difficult because there can be sooo many distractions. This is why this is probably the most important time of year to refocus on what you want to create. With additional focus and the energy that comes with summer, you can get much more done in a shorter time than in the winter.
Now that we are out of the election cycle and the politicians are focusing on trying to get people back to work instead of trying to get elected, there is more optimism for accomplishing things. At the same time the economy is starting to accelerate again and the time to get in position for the next expansion is now. During the next 6 months things will start to ramp up and in a year they will be going full speed again.
It’s easier to get on the train when it’s in the station than when it’s already up to speed. That’s why this is the time to focus on getting everything ready. Write down what you want to manifest in your life (job, career, better health, home, etc.) and do what you need to do to get ready. Increase your skills, clean up old messes that might hold you back and get your strategy in place and ready to go.
The window of time is closing quickly so don’t delay. Don’t put things off until the fall. Do it now to get the most out of your future. Ride the energy. Like in surfing, you have to catch the wave to get a good ride. Don’t let it slip past. Open your eyes and make it a priority. Pay attention. Be ready to go. Catch the wave and ride it as far as it will take you. It’s a blast.

Over 25 years ago I was taking a personal development training and was presented with a difficult question: What do you want? I panicked. My heart started racing, I broke out in a sweat and my hands started shaking. I had just been asked a question I was unprepared to answer. And then it hit me: All my life I had been taught that I did not deserve to ask for things.
This probably affects more people whose parents grew up in the depression than people who grew up during the past 30+ years of prosperous times. However, I ask the question of our students of all ages and have found a common thread: The ones who know what they want and aren’t afraid to ask for it are moving forward with their lives much faster than those who don’t know what they want.
But why do some people know and others don’t? In my case I found that many well meaning parents, relatives, teachers or friends mistakenly believed that by lowering my expectations, I would be less disappointed when I didn’t get what I wanted. As with most children, I thought I could have it all so it took a lot of counter programming to get me to the point where I couldn’t even think of what I wanted.
As a child you ultimately want to please your parents (even though at times it may appear that your mission in life is to make them crazy). Of course, if you look at a healthy 3 year old who still knows that they are the center of the universe, wants everything and has no desire to share anything, it’s a good reminder of where we all were at certain points in our development and why we are “socialized” while growing up. Three year olds don’t have a lot of friends. They tend to have doting relatives but the friendship thing is still in development until they learn to share and give as well as receive. However, they can’t really learn to give until they have learned to receive in a healthy way. But alas, I digress.
The process that starts out with good intentions transmutes into a toxic message that you do not deserve what you want. Low self-esteem ensues and over time, the question of what you want becomes traumatic. You lose the ability to ask for what you want and once you stop even thinking about what you want, the ability to manifest becomes a mystery. It’s replaced with the programming that the only way to receive something is by working for it.
So we find ourselves in a strange place in history. Simultaneously we have most people believing that they don’t deserve to have what they want at the same time the news is focused on huge amounts of money being given away to businesses and people who have lost the ability to manifest what they want or need. It’s important to remember that the news makes it seem like everyone is getting bailed out but the reality is that it’s really a small percentage. If there is 10% unemployment that means that 90% of the people are still working. The number of companies that are getting government loans is small compared to the number that are not. But the impression is that most people are out of work and most companies are getting help from the government.
The reality is that the news and the perception of the crisis is actually driven by the basic belief that we don’t deserve to have what we want. The message is that you don’t deserve to keep the money you earn and amazingly, the majority of us are willing to go along with it, paying our taxes, allowing the government to take our money and give it to others. We are manifesting our inner belief that we don’t deserve to have what we want.
So how do you change this? It starts by knowing what you want, in great detail and with a positive feeling for wanting it. There are many ways of developing this process with Treasure Mapping, list making and journaling. If you would like more information on this topic, please let me know and I will expand on this in a future posting.
May you be healthy, wealthy and generous.
Sincerely,
Kris
p.s. Please feel free to ask questions by using the comments. The more you ask for what you want, the more you will receive.

A recent Facebook comment about being laid off stimulated this post. My first reaction is to say: Congratulations. You have graduated from what you were doing and now you have the opportunity to go to your next level. Of course, I seldom say it out loud because most people are not ready to hear it in that way. They are dealing with their anxiety about not knowing what’s next.
It’s important to know how to go from loss to prosperity. Whether you do this for yourself or your clients, it’s an important skill to master. This creates the foundation of what we do at Spa Tech Institute.
As an agent of positive energy (which describes anyone who is working on prosperity) the more you help others to reach their highest potential, the more prosperous you become as well.
For people who are laid off or part of a company that fails, the experience is ultimately a loss or death and follows a predicable emotional pattern. This also applies to all losses: Death, divorce, financial loss and other similar events. Because it applies to financial loss as well, we are surrounded by a lot of people who are going through this experience now. Even if you did not lose your job, if you had a 401K, property or other investments, you have lost a lot in the last couple of years.
The question is: How can you stay positive and focused on the next level of manifestation after this happens?
FIrst, think of this as a graduation. It’s a completion, not a loss. Many spiritual traditions require new members to give up worldly possession, relationships and other things. When a person goes into the military, they shave their heads and erase their identity so they can become part of a new culture. This process shakes people up and gives them a chance to change.
Second, whenever there is a loss, most people go through the 5 stages of grieving: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance. Whether you quit a job or are laid off, graduate from school or move out of a house, be aware that this is a normal process. The more aware of the stage you are in, the faster you can move through it.
But how does this fit in with manifesting what you want? It’s simple. The 5 stages are all part of your transformation and evolution. At first you will be walking around in a daze. Then you will move on to being mad, etc. Ultimately, it’s our resistance to change at the heart of the struggle. Once we accept change we can move on to creating what we want in the world.
If we are able to treat all change as a graduation from one state and an opportunity to start something new, we can look at the situation as a positive event. It may take a while to get to that view but the faster we can move into it, the less likely we are to get stuck in one of the 5 stages of grieving.
One of the other great benefits of loss and the 5 stages of grieving is that it gives you a chance to identify what really matters. Most people eventually discover (after they have moved on to their next opportunities) that they really needed the change and were tired or bored of what they were doing. I think that people are far more powerful than they realize in creating the changes they need in their lives. For instance, ask yourself, were you getting up every morning looking forward to going to work or were you dreading it. Did you look forward to the weekend and vacations more than Monday mornings? What does that tell you?
So as you look at your situation, pay attention to what your inner voice is saying. Many people I know, even the ones who say they love their work, really mean that it is the best job that they can allow themselves to have. In other words, they love their job more than other jobs, but they don’t really love what they do. Again, the proof is in looking at what days you look forward to the most: Days off or days at work.
At this point you may be wondering what I’m smoking. Of course, nothing but energy. When you really love what you do you have a deep passion for it that fills your imagination and inspires you to contribute. Finding what you really love is the surest path to bliss and excellent health. It also gives you the prosperity that you deserve. I know from personal experience. I have had good jobs that I did not look forward to going to. And I have also found what I love to do. It is very different. I’m also surrounded by a lot of people who either already are doing what they love or are learning to do what they love.
There is nothing that makes live exciting as doing what you are meant to do. Every day is an adventure.
Be well and prosper,
Kris

Optimism is a powerful choice that is at the root of your prosperity. The reason is simple: optimistic people are healthier so they can act on opportunities. This was supported in a recent study that found optimistic people were significantly healthier and happier than those who were not optimistic.
But the most important part to remember is that it is a choice. I know from personal experience that this is true. When I was younger it was very fashionable to be pessimistic to the point of being cynical. The reasons for this are complex and important to understand. The facts are that until I learned to change my view to optimism, I was more frequently sick and unable to see or act on opportunities that could have changed my life.
Understanding why people choose to stay stuck in pessimistic attitudes is a good starting place. As with all behavior there must be a perceived benefit or people would not choose it. Probably the most fundamental benefit is that it allows people to avoid responsibility for their reality or their failure. Or at least that’s the underlying belief. After all, if the world is fundamentally against you, then it’s not your fault that your life is difficult. It can be blamed on a wide range of external forces that you have no control over.
This strategy works provided the people around you don’t understand the mechanics of manifestation. For those who have moved towards self-actualization it is clear that you create your reality by the choices you make. When people around you don’t give you a waiver for the difficulties in your life, you can’t get handouts and welfare. When the people in your life push you to be responsible for your life, you are forced to take action to change your life and succeed.
For many young people a pessimistic attitude has served them well, getting teachers and parents to give them what they want. The reinforcement of this pattern results in pessimism being a default setting in people’s lives. This is seen in cultures that have relied on welfare for multiple generations.
So how do you break out of the pattern?
After you have the realization that you are the creator of your reality, the next step is to maintain a positive outlook. Here are some pointers to help you stay optimistic.
By understanding and following these concepts, you can have more of what you want in your life. You will be healthier which will give you the energy to act on the opportunities that others don’t see. As with all things that are powerful, it’s really simple.
I look forward to seeing you succeed on many levels.

In the words of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, “Don’t Panic.” (If you have not read it yet, you owe it to yourself. It’s a good primer for living.)
Wall street and the global stock markets can be misleading. They measure speculation of supply and demand. The economy is not the stock markets. So when you hear a lot of doom and gloom about the markets, remember: Real value is what you do with your life.
Of course, there are a lot of people who are seeing their life’s monetary savings shrink. This is very frightening if you measure your value or your ability to survive by money. What’s the alternative?
How about measuring your value and ability to survive by:
These are the true measure of who you are and your ability to survive. Yes, having a lot of money may make it easier to do the things you want and act the way you want. But actually, therein lies the problem.
Have you ever noticed that most of the most balanced, aligned and wonderful people either do not have a lot of material wealth or it does not have much of an affect on them if they do have it? Have you also noticed that many of the most messed up, mean and unhappy people are the ones who grew up with too much material wealth and not enough opportunity to develop spiritually?
I’m just saying, I think what we are hearing about now may not be a bad thing. If it reconnects people with what’s really important, isn’t that good? If it reconnects us with our source, other people and taking better care of ourselves, isn’t that a positive development?
In some way, haven’t people been asking for things to be different? Isn’t that what was promised by the election? We were promised change and now we have it. Shouldn’t we be happy that we got what 52% of the voters wanted?
My theory on this is that everything had grown a little too intense and our lives were starting to behave like the Windows OS when it needs to be rebooted. It accumulates problems and gets unstable until the only thing you can do is pull the plug and start over. It feels like we are rebooting the economy. In fact, back in the depression, Roosevelt declared a Bank Holiday (a great euphemism for rebooting the banking system) because everything was so messed up no one knew what was going on.
When a computer reboots, it usually tries to save some data and put things in order before it starts again. That takes time as it shuts down services and gets ready to restart. And once it starts again with a clean slate, everything runs much better. It’s what the stock markets are doing now.
If this is the case, then what do you need to do?
By following these important steps you will be more prosperous. Why? Because you are going to be mentally and emotionally agile and prepared to see and act on opportunities that other people will miss. During times of change, this is what’s really important.
Be well and Prosper
Sincerely,

SWOT is a powerful concept that you need to keep front of mind. Whether you apply it to your business or your life, it will help you to clarify and overcome the obstacles to success.
I have used the SWOT techniques repeatedly in dealing with the growth of Spa Tech Institute.
SWOT stands for:
Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats: SWOT
This requires some work on your part but it can be a lot of fun as well. Be clear if you are doing it for your business, personal life, health, finances or relationship. By narrowing it down your questions will produce better results.
After you decide what category of your life you’re covering, make up a questionnaire for your friends and family to answer. It is really easy. Just make a heading for each of the 4 areas of SWOT and leave space for them to fill in their answers. Request that they be as honest as possible.
Once you receive the feedback, here’s how to use it.
Now it’s time to use the information.
Now that you have the information, it’s important to put it into an action plan. The key work is ACTION. The plan should describe specific ACTIONS that you can take to turn Threats into Opportunities and Weaknesses into Strengths.
I will address how to develop effective actions plans in future posts. For now, start working on getting the information. Clarity is the first step in action. There is no point to acting if you don’t know what you need to change.

A new study found that 3 out of 4 women are likely to have a stress related reaction to bad economic news and 22% of men will turn to drinking versus 15% of women during these times. This creates even more stress. The second part was that people are more likely to get sick, not sleep as well and act out in ways that creates even more stress in their lives.
I’m going to keep this simple. Stress cannot be avoided. It can only be managed. As co-owners and managers of a school with 5 locations, my wife and I lead potentially stressful lives. Without polarity therapy, we could never have survived the stress. In fact, polarity therapy was the only thing that helped me recover from the adverse effects from years of stress in high tech and business start up.
What I found was regular polarity sessions made me stronger in the face of adversity. Stress damages your energy systems. If you don’t get them repaired, the stress leads to secondary physical, mental and emotional problems.
The problem is, there are very few qualified Polarity Realization Therapists who know the techniques to repair the energy systems. Because they are often booked up, they are hard to find. They typically don’t advertise and most people find them by word of mouth.
So if you’re tired of letting stress run (or ruin) your life, start the search for a good polarity practitioner and when you find them, book as many sessions as you can. It will change your life.
Be well.

The majority of students at Spa Tech Institute have a common purpose that they are not aware of. Almost everyone wants to make a difference. They want to make people more attractive, healthier, happier or all of the above.
Most people don’t realize how the need to make a difference drives them. They are unaware of the subtle messages of the soul pushing them to take on new challenges, learn new skills or take their work to the next level. However, with every passing year, everyone becomes more aware of the need for a sense of accomplishment.
All healthy people have this need on an individual level. Many also have it on a community or global level. The truth is, we can accomplish much more as a community than we can as an individual. However, it takes leadership. Nothing big happens without someone driving the process.
Leaders have the vision of what can be accomplished. They spread the word to as many people as possible. Of course, they get shot down many times but the true leaders keep getting up because the vision or the mission is stronger than the people who put them down.
But why do people put them down? Partly because many people fear change, preferring to stay in the safety of what they know instead of venturing into uncharted waters. This is where you can make the differnce. When you find a leader, be open minded. Listen carefully and see if the vision or mission resonate in you. If it does, risk becoming part of the community that grows around the vision or mission.
Try it. Be involved and see how it moves you forward in all aspects of your life. You can make a difference if you are willing to take the risk of having an open mind and believing that the world can be a better place.
Your commitment to improving the world raises your prosperity on many levels.
Be well,
Kris

Relationship is the proving ground of being connected with source energy. Since relationships are ultra dynamic, you can see the cause and effect of connection moment to moment.
Most of what we manifest in life is through relationships. Whether it’s with our parents, siblings, teachers, friends or collegues, relationships is how we get things done. Almost nothing happens without the help or collaboration with others. The car you drive, the roads and bridges you travel on, the fuel you use and the buildings you live and work in are all possible because of milions of relationships that work together.
This is the coolest thing in the world to contemplate. To succeed, you need other people. Accept this and you can start to work with strategies to increase your success. Spa Tech Institute could never exist without relationships. The students, teachers, administrators, vendors and service people are all an integrated part of the whole. There are also millions of people who make telephones, computers, internet, fuel, paper and thousands of other things that are all needed for it to exist.
So what are some of the concepts that are key to successful relationships?
The first is to remember that the golden rule should be ”Do unto others as THEY want to be done unto.” This requires getting outside of your reality and getting into their reality. The better you can do this, the more effective you will be at hearing what they need and providing it.
The second thing is to remember that actions speak much louder than words. You cannot “talk” your way out of what you ”do” yourself into.
The third think is to remember that relationships are easy to get into and difficult to get out of. So choose your partners carefully and then take very good care of the relationship. It’s like a garden: If you don’t tend to it daily and let the weeds grow, it will be in pretty bad shape when you go to pick your tomatoes.
Of course there is much more to say about relationship as will be covered in future posts.
Thank you for reading and I look forward to hearing about your success.
